O Come, Let us Adore Him
Luke 2:8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15 The angels offered an invitation. Many heard it.
In my daily life, there may be events that I am not invited to. The invitation to worship is extended to everyone. This invitation to worship the King doesn’t have a limit.
Throughout the Bible it says to “come.” There is an invitation to salvation and to worship.
The shepards were invited and had to go where He was. The Christmas song says, "Oh come, all you faithful, joyful and triumphant. Come and adore him.” The invitation is to adore Him.
Jesus invited people in different ways. He invited Zacchaeus to go to lunch. The invited the woman at the well to drink everlasting water.
Matthew 28:19,20 He has given us the authority to invite others.
What am I doing with my invitation? Am I accepting it? I may need to rearrange my schedule and prepare my heart and mind for worship.
Psalms 100:1,2,3,4,5 I must bring praise with me.
Worship doesn’t have to be a song or pretty words. It can also be the sacrifice of praise. It can include the sad or difficult moments. God accepts both.
Praise is lifting up God for what he has done. Worship is for who He is. I may be uncomfortable with speaking out, but I can try to find a way to worship and praise God.
Psalms 95:1,2,3,4,5,6,7
Psalms 105:1,2 I can come at anytime, but my attitude should include reverence.
Psalms 96:1,2,3,4 Am I glad to come to the house of God? Do visitors observe me enjoying my time of worship?
John 1:12
Psalms 122:1 Do I leave with hope, joy, peace, and encouragement after worshiping?
