Today is The Day
“Not now – I’ll do it later.” What are the reasons people choose not to be saved now? Procrastination, past bad experience, seems too hard, too sinful to be forgiven.
People don’t know what they don’t know. How else will they know if I don’t tell them?
Whether or not I am saved, I have to choose every day if I want to serve God.

When an individual puts off a commitment in salvation, they are taking God’s grace in vain.
Romans 6:20,21,22,23 There is a contrast throughout the Bible between sin and righteousness.
God is not always going to be near.
Psalm 95:6,7,8 Repentence needs to take place when I am convicted by the Holy Spirit. The time to respond to conviction is when God is talking to me.
I don’t know when I’m going to die.
Hebrews 9:27,28 We are appointed to live one life and then face the judgement.
When I put off repentance, my heart grows harder.

1 Timothy 4:2 Saying no to God or not listening when God talks to me, means at some point I won't hear when he speaks to me. God can’t plant seeds in a hard heart.
I need to listen and respond when the Word comes. Repentance and a changed mind can happen even after I am a Christian.
There is a point of no return.

Today is the day of salvation. Can I be used to help someone who is procrastinating?
