God Values His Church
What does God want from His church today? He places value on His church as well as each individual. His church is made up of individuals.
Is what is important to me important to God?
Romans 12:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21 What does it mean to be a living sacrifice or be holy? How does a congregation work together to prove the acceptable will of God? Don’t be conformed to the world. The first two verses make the rest possible.
If I am walking in the Spirit and am transformed, I can work with God’s body and with different gifts. Do I know what my calling is? God will enable me to achieve my calling.
There’s a difference between being assertive and aggressive. Being transformed means I don’t have a vengeful, “get even” spirit.
John 13: 34,35
Do my personal convictions take precedence over the greater good of the church? No. The body is important. God gives a spirit of discernment. I need my own experience.

All are different; all have similar human concerns (i.e., dying, pain, children, future, finances). No one can address concerns like God. What does God have to say? This makes me humble. We cannot injure one another over differences. There will be differences. My personal conviction could create a stumbling block to another.
Psalm 42:7,8 How can we celebrate differences so they are not devisive? God is deep. If I am floating on the surface I am not deep. Depth doesn’t call to shallowness. God calls to the deepest part of me.
