Rest Required

Psalms 23:1,2,3,4,5,6 I don’t have to do this alone or pave the way or lead. The Lord is the shepherd. He already knows and has prepared the way. Everything is provided for. My needs have been met before I asked.

He makes me rest spiritually and physically; it is a requirement. The Lord provides a beautiful place to rest beside still water. There is comfort and refreshing. My soul is restored because He has given me a place to rest. There is a purpose to the rest! He leads in a path of right living, which is restful for my soul. I don't have to fear. The Shepherd stays near the sheep and offers protection. It’s hard to eat when afraid and anxious. The Lord will prepare a table in the middle of chaos and I can eat and have rest.
