Finding Jesus in the Crowd
If I want to get somewhere, even through traffic or crowds, I will press my way. Spiritual “crowds” can get in my way to get to Jesus.

The words used to describe the people around Jesus were: crowds, thronged, press, multitude, much people. Jesus was closely surrounded.
The woman had a physical need for many years. She had heard about Jesus but had no experience with Him. She had faith and desire; the crowd did not stop her. The woman didn’t know what she would find, but she had heard He could meet her need. She may have had to crawl through a crowd (of mostly men) to touch the hem of his garment.
He felt her touch because He wants to meet needs. She was different from the crowd around Him.
All of us have a need that we need an answer for. What prevents me from reaching Jesus? Work, school, friends, family, entertainment, fear, pride? What’s in my “crowd?” Once I get to Jesus, I can know him better. He will fulfill the need I have when I reach Him.
