Excuses: It's Just Too Hard A Way
Matthew 7:13,14 A common excuse people use to not serve God is that it's just too hard a way. They say the way is too narrow. Although God's way is narrow, Jesus knew the human condition.
This way is too hard if I try to do it on my own. With God, it’s possible.
Why does the way feel hard? It contradicts human nature, which wants to satisfy self.
Galatians 5:16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26 There is a war between the spirit and the flesh. If I say this is hard it’s because the flesh is winning the war.
The fruits of the spirit are only available to me when they come from the Spirit.

John 14:6 How do I defeat the enemy and overcome this excuse? I have to know what the narrow way is. It’s Jesus.
1 John 3:8 Jesus is here to win the war between the flesh and the spirit.
John 3:14,15,16,17 This way leads to eternal life.
What are some of the benefits of this way? Healing, hope, peace, kindness, guidance, forgiveness, strength, comfort, wisdom, protection.
Do those around me know this way is good? Jesus is the way.
