Three Essentials

There is great unbelief in the world. If God speaks to me and I am convicted to take an action, I must keep the context of why I moved under the inspiration of God.

Matthew 6:9,10,11,12,13,14,15

In the beginning, the Father

The prayer begins with “our Father.” God created order, purpose, and meaning in the beginning. Sin is chaos; it separates from order.

Romans 8:7 The natural inclination of human heart is enmity with God.

1 Corinthians 9:26

There is Movement of Heaven into Earth

Humanity had corrupted and abused the creation of God. It resulted in sin, which is the corruption of something good. God created a heavenly movement to earth (humanity). Heaven is perfect and complete without disorder, chaos, hatred, or division. This is what God desires on earth.

Am I Frustrating the Will of God?

If I am being mean or taking another's joy just so I can be right, I am frustrating the will of God. Don’t take away some one else's right to have meaning. Leave it with God.

I must forgive those that take something from me (debtor). This can be more than belongings or finances. It can be peace, joy, or happiness.

If I forgive trespasses, the Father can forgive me. If there is a list of qualifiers, that isn’t truly forgiveness. I am living in the state of what follows after the “but.” If someone is a debtor I don’t have to prove it. It’s already in evidence. My only job is to forgive.

Luke 23:33,34 Jesus was shamed. His clothes were removed and distributed. How did Jesus act when treated unjustly? I must follow His example as a Christian.

Genesis 45:5 Joseph's family sold him into slavery. He was imprisoned unjustly. He concluded, “All of this happened so I could save you.” We all have the opportunity to be as Jesus and Joseph.
