Freedom at the Cross

What is the symbol Christians use for freedom? The cross.

Jesus took all the past, current, and future sin and paid the penalty on the cross.

Galatians 2:20 Crucified means to die on a cross. If I am crucified with Christ, it is so that Christ can live in me.

Galatians 3:13

1 Corinthians 1:18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,39,31 The foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of humanity.

Romans 5:6,7,8,9 What does the cross do? Deliver from sin and God's wrath. It breaks Satan's power. It gives eternal life. It brings forgiveness and access to God.

Ephesians 1:7

The cross is not just a symbol (idol). It’s an experience.

There is freedom in Christ.
