If I feel weak, inadequate, or lacking strength, it’s okay. This is an invitation for God to fill in and help. He can’t help if I think I can do everything in my own strength.

Spiritual Acquisition
Galatians 5:25 Be convicted and motivated. The fleshly mind is naturally contrary to the will of God. A supernatural experience is needed to change a natural inclination. Conversion doesn’t lead to just agreement, it leads to consecration.
John 6:41 42,43,44,52,60,61,62,63,64,65,66 Expectation and attraction is different for each person. Not everyone who was present was walking in the Spirit. Do I want what God wants? Am I in a place to walk in the Spirit?
I can’t come to God until he draws me. I will be drawn to what I’m attracted to, not out of obedience or fear. In the Gospel, obedience follows love.
Jesus pointed out to the crowd that the reason they were following Him was for the loaves and fishes (benefits). This is a finite, material Christianity.
John 6:26 God is sending out a call. He is not desperate for us. We are desperate for Him.
When Jesus was tempted, He responded that He wasn’t attracted to those offers. He was attracted to what His Father wanted. Love is where my attraction is; Satan doesn’t have love when he tempts.
Am I aware of what I’m responding to? Is it temptation disguised as righteousness? Do I love what is calling me? This helps me walk in the Spirit.
Luke 18:10,11,12,13,14 Remain poor in spirit. Can the Holy Spirit possess everything that I have?
Sometimes “working on it” is an excuse to walk in the flesh. It is God’s will that I walk in the Spirit. Projects have an end date. If I have a spiritual project, it needs to be my priority.
John 6:66 Why did the people go back? Their mind was too finite and stuck in the material world. Love and faith was replaced by opinion.
When God reaches out I have a choice whether I reach back.
When I walk in the flesh, my fruit will be fleshly. Is my desire for the call of God?
