Blessings for the Obedient

Go back to the place where you said “no” to God, change your answer, and you will see blessings. It’s not always easy to say yes. I have a choice. God gives blessings to the obedient.

Exodus 19:5,6 We are God’s treasure, not flawed or useless.

Deuteronomy 5:29,33 Eternal life comes from obedience.

Obeying in small matters is essential in the biggest blessings.

Luke 5:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 Obedience meant God could show His power. Peter's first chance to make a choice was when Jesus asked to use his boat. If Peter had said “no,” Jesus would have used someone else and they would have received the blessing.

God wants to use my boat as His platform. Have I said yes?

Our obedience to God not only gives me a blessing, but also blesses those around me.

Peter got a blessing; everyone else also got a blessing. His friends James and John had their most profitable day of fishing.

When I obey God, He will never disappoint.

When he was finished speaking, Jesus told Peter to start fishing again. It was easier to obey the second time. They were not disappointed.

God will take an empty boat and with an act of obedience will fill it. God will alway bless obedience.
