Isaiah 40:31 Disappointment comes when hopes and expectations don’t pan out. This can lead to frustration and sadness, and even a season of disappointment. Sometimes we can run, but other times we can only walk. It’s forward progress. There’s a reaping and blessing if I don’t give up.

Eternal Life
I choose to eat healthy, exercise, and take care of my body. I do things to keep my brain active. Why? So I can live longer and have a better quality of life. We all want to live as comfortably as possible. But all will die at some point.
Hebrews 9:27 We have a hope of eternal life.
Matthew 22:29,30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40 God is the “God of the living.”
Why did Jesus say, “I am the God of Abraham. I am the God of the living” when they were not alive at the moment? They were dead, physically, but living with God in eternal life.
John 14:1,2,3,4,5,6,7 Jesus says there is a place for me when I die.
John 3:36 Believe on the Son and receive eternal life.
John 4:14 There is a well springing up into everlasting life. This can be enjoyed now.

John 10:28 Maybe some thought this meant living forever on the earth. The hope is in heaven.
John 17:3 Everlasting life is mentioned multiple times. What is the key? Giving up self and living for God.
1 Timothy 6:12 Eternal life starts now.
There are two words in Hebrew that mean “life” : chayei olam and chayei sha’ah. The first means eternal life. The second means fleeting or earthly life.
Matthew 6:25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34 Don’t worry about all the earthly things. Those things will take care of themselves. Seek first the kingdom of God and all things shall be added. This is eternal life.
What am I focused on? Eternal life starts with being connected to the Creator.
