John 8:31,32 Am I learning more about what God's Word says about being free? Am I enjoying independence from sin? Am I dependent on God? Or led by my self?
The Elegant Life: The Mule
The book by Brian Greene, The Elegant Universe, describes the simple construction and interconnectedness of the universe. Although the author is an atheist, he presents a picture of God's creation. Something that is elegant elicits admiration, is special, and hard to replicate. Life is elegant because it’s not random; it is created by God.
Isaiah 35:8
When I remove disappointment and envy from creating a covering for my “cup,” God can fill it.
Genesis 1:9,10,11,12,13 Perfection was creation replicating after its own kind. Our spiritual nature is designed to be after God. We are also to be capable of going out and producing fruit in others.
When an individual’s spirit is corrupted, it doesn’t prove there is no God. Perfect (complete and filled) is God’s intention. God creates perfectly. People corrupted it. The existence of God doesn't imply that all wrongs will be made right. If circumstances do not change or improve in a positive direction, this disappointment does not indicate the absence of God. God allows corruption in the world that we might have choice.
Genesis 6:1,2,3,4,6,13 Just because the earth is corrupted and full of violence doesn’t mean there is no God.
A mule cannot replicate. It is always the product of a horse and a donkey. If a mule were able to replicate, it would be a supernatural intervention. In this way, God can spiritually make us fruitful again.
Romans 8:28,29
The elegant life is no longer corrupted, but even more, it produces change. I am no longer “sterile.”
