Matthew 1:18,19,20,21,22,23 “God with us” means God in the flesh and human, but is still divine.
Christians don’t worship three gods. There is one God in three persons. Not three manifestations. Not three purposes. A risen Christ is celebrating a person that is one of the three. Jesus saves from sin; only God can save from sin. Jesus is God.
Isaiah 7:14
Colossians 1:12,17 Jesus called God father. The apostles called Him the Son of God. He was present with the Father in creation.
2 Corinthians 13:14
John 8:58 Jesus used the term I AM, just as God described himself.
An individual must believe that Jesus is either a fraud or delusional or the son of God. He is not a lesser god, created by God. He has the full authority of God.
1 Peter 3:22
Why do we celebrate His resurrection from the dead?
1 Corinthians 15:19 There is hope.
John 11:26 Unbelief means I dismiss Jesus as Emmanuel, which means “God is with us.”
What is newness of life?
Romans 6:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 A spirit that has been reborn has newness of life. Negative characteristics become past characteristics.
How do we receive newness of life?
Mark 2:12,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 Celebrating starts with desire. To exchange for something we have to relinquish the old life and spirit. I have to take a leap of faith, but God is holding me and it is safe for me to do this.
