The Currency of Thankfulness

How can I participate in the blessing of thanksgiving every day? How do I reconcile being thankful with the harsh realities of life? With all the the problems of evil, how can a good God ask me to be thankful?

Ecclesiates is about a wealthy man and ruler that had whatever he wanted. His conclusion was that life's vanities don't make sense and it doesn't offer anything meaningful. At times, the world around me can rob me of thanksgiving because I feel this way.

What is treasure? How do I prioritize my treasure? Where is it placed? Although my family and other priorities are below my relationship with God, these treasures are safe if I dedicate them to God. What will I do if things don’t go as planned or desired with my other “treasures?”

Job 2:9,10 When he was told, “I don’t have any confidence in your integrity,” he still had confidence in God. He was thankful.
