Connecting Two Worlds
John 17:14,15,16 We are not of the world, but kept from the evil in it. We are all present in a material world.
Genesis 1:1 Genesis 2:2,3 In the beginning, God created the material world and it was perfect.
John 1:1,2,3,7,8,9,10,14 There are two worlds: spiritual and material.
Mark 9:2,3,4,5,6,7 Jesus was briefly transfigured out of the material world in front of Peter, James, and John. The voice of God gave instructions that in the spiritual world, we must listen to Jesus only. Which world is influencing me?
Human beings in all eras and in all locations of the world have always wanted something more than the material world.
Luke 6:16 What is an atheist? Judas was an atheist at the end of his life.
John 12:4,5,6 Judas stole money out of the bag even when he was present with Jesus.
John 13:21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29 Judas was in love with money, not with serving Jesus.
Mark 14:21 Judas couldn’t connect the spiritual and material world. He had lost belief and faith. A person that cannot comprehend God has no hope of salvation. This is a true atheist.
A spiritual or religious person can be a classic atheist. I can be in church and not follow Jesus. The more material I am in my thinking and experience, the less spiritual I become. A true Christian is a “theist.”
The heavenly world is meant to govern the material world. How material is my thinking? The less I care about God and heaven, the more material I become in my thinking.
A person who is distant from the spiritual world can only believe in fate in the material world. There is no need for hope.
All souls belong to God. A piece of heaven is in each person, but it becomes corrupted and the relationship is severed. Jesus is the connector between the material and spiritual.
My effectiveness is directly related to how tight (close) the connection to God is. The Holy Spirit draws an individual. Jesus then removes the last distance between me and God (sin).
If my two worlds are not connecting, I can ask God for help.
