Spirit Filled Warfare

Ephesians 6:10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18 Finally means “in conclusion.” Be on the foundation and wear the proper garments to fight the enemy.

If I know I am heading into a war zone, am I wearing the right things? How do I conduct myself in a spiritual warfare?

I am strong (empowered) in the Lord, who is the source. His power has strength and force behind it. As humans, we are emotionally weak; our thinking and spirit is easily affected at times. We often forget this in the middle of a situation or battle.

There’s a reason why I must put on the armor. It's so I can stand against the enemy.

The enemy wants me to get confused and to focus on something or someone else. The devil is ancient, experienced, deceptive, and powerful. He is a cunning, scheming trickster. This was his job from the beginning. The enemy wants to take away good things from God.

When the devil tempted Jesus, he waited for what seemed to be time of weakness and solitude. Jesus responded by quoting scripture.

My enemy is not another person. They might be doing the work of the enemy. They might want to see my destruction. I can become angry and hold a grudge or I can forgive and move on.

When I produce the fruits of the Spirit, I defeat the enemy. When we fight one another, we lose and the enemy wins.

Genesis 3:1,2,3,4,5,6 The devil knew what the truth was, but he twisted it with deception. He was casting doubt on God’s promise. I need to be prepared for doubt to be cast on God's Word.

1 Peter 5:8 I have an adversary.

If I am in Christ, I can stand and have power and victory over the enemy.
