Can we be perfect in Gods sight? Contrary to the "sin you will, sin you must" message that permeates modern day religion, God has a sin free experience for his people. Starting all the way back in the old testament, God promised his people that he would give them a new heart and a new Spirit (Ezekiel 11:19).
A contrite and broken heart before God is what will get us saved and keep us saved. Psalm 51:17 shows us that God wants us to present ourselves as a living Sacrifice (Hebrews 12:1 as well) with a broken spirit and a contrite heart. God can break through to us in our need no matter what it is, and when he does, he is the best person to dwell with in any circumstance (Isaiah 57:15) Spiritual perfection will come at a price as it takes work, humility, and dedication to continue to decrease while we let Christ increase. But if Job can do it, so we can we (Job 1:1-2)
