We need to stand fast in the liberty in which Christ has made us free. In order to not get weighted down we need to resist dicsouragement and to fight off unbelief. |

Respecting the Ministry and building our Temple
We studied this week about the Awesome responsibility the ministry has. The decisions, the council, the watching that must be done in order to protect Gods flock from the enemy. It is only through the wisdom of Almighty God that the ministry can see clearly and judge rightly. (1st Kings 3: 1-14) Gods ministry must preach the truth to Gods people regardless of popular opinion and must not be selective to what is preached based upon what people think. |

Walking in the Spirit. This week we studied about how TRUE Christians need to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. The opening scripture text was Galatians 5:16-24 which helped us to see that the Bible is not a book about do’s and don’ts, but it is a guide that teaches us how to truly walk in the Spirit so that we can serve God in Spirit and in Truth. |

Envious at Sinners This week we studied Psalms 73 (verses 1-28) in its entirety. The essence of the lesson was to encourage us as Saints to not be envious of sinners but to keep our eyes on the things of God and makes sure we are faithful to attend the services of God. We must also stay faithful in our devotions or else we will get lean towards the things of God The lesson was further supported by scripture text found in Romans 8:1-8 |

This week, in some respects, was a continuation of the previous two weeks that taught us some of the duties we have as parents. We focused primarily on a parent’s responsibility to correct their children in a constructive and loving way. We are being lazy and negligent of our responsibility as parents if we do not take the time to correct our children so they can learn the difference between right and wrong. |

Class notes 9/23 & 9/30 These two weeks have been lessons concerning Parental Responsibility and the duty of every parent to raise their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. In order to have the desired affect that we must on our children, it is important that we first live a Godly example before them (Deuteronomy 4:9). Secondly, we must teach our children about God and things of God. Thirdly, we should give our children our own lively testimony of what God did for us when he saved us and delivered us from sin (Deuteronomy 6:5-15;20-12 and Deuteronomy 31:13) |
