We studied about the benefits of Salvation and the corresponding promises of God. When we live for God with victory over sin, God loads us daily with benefits.

We continued our Study on James chapter 4 this week on staying humble (and the trouble that Pride can get us into). The first 6 verses of James Chapter 4 illustrates what happens when we lose the battle against the flesh and verses 7-17 admonishes and teaches us how to keep the victory over the flesh

Pride gets a lot of people in trouble in a lot of ways. In James Chapter 4, The Elder James chastises the Church in General for not being humble before God and resisting the flesh and the Devil.

Christ gave us a definite commission before He left after His resurrection. A commission by definition is not only an authoritative order, charge or direction; but is also the condition of being placed under special authoritative responsibility or charge. So not only did Christ give us the order to preach the Gospel, he also gave us the authority to do so - or the power.

Is God first place in our Hearts? The Book of Haggai, the first chapter gives us a good picture of a people who had let their circumstances put them in a position where the Work and Burden of God was neglected while they went about trying to take care of themselves.

Is Gods love shining in us? When we have interactions with those around us, can they feel the love of God in us? Are we impartial in our Love?

After spending the past 7 weeks learning the 5 love languages, Bro. Ferron from Florida followed it up with a wonderful message on Mastering Communication between a Husband and a Wife.

Communication is a powerful median of expressing ones feelings, emotions, thoughts and desires. The bible teaches us that we need to have our tongues on the alter and that by our words we shall be justified and by our words we shall be condemned.

This week in our quest to strive to be closer to God and to walk blameless before him, we studied Meekness.

As we continued our study on spiritual perfection, we discussed much the thought have being humble before God in order to maintain our spiritual standing before God.
