My name is Rick Coleman. I came to the "end of my rope", so to speak, about 30 years ago, when the Lord got a hook in my jaw and began to show me how I looked to him...I really didn't like what I saw.
God's Word and the Spirit of God in us is what unites us.
Romans 15:30 says that we are to strive together in prayer. The Spirit of God is holiness and we stand fast in one spirit. (Philipians 1:27) God's Spirit has to be a part of us. We cannot bring in another Spirit of fellowship.
In Acts 2:38-47 the saints had all things common. The Church of God grows through repentance and humbling themselves before God and by doing this we too will have all things common. And by having "all things common" we will also have "one" faith and that is the faith of the gospel of Christ. (Romans 1:11-12) This fellowship of the gospel is so important. There is only "one" truth" not "many" truths and "different interpretations" of truth. That is confusion and confusion is not of God.
