Bro Anniel Nyaga is a pastor of a congregation in the Mt Kenya area.

Sis Evelyn and Sis Wilma worked much in the kitchen preparing food, and they did a great job! (They are daughters of Bro Lawrence and Sis Joyce.)

Emerson was my special "buddy" ready to greet me every time I arrived at Church, and traveled with me around the Makindu area.

Visiting the Church of God at Kali (about 20 miles from Makindu) along with Pastor, Bro Joseph, and Emerson.

Kenya Ministers Meeting 4-2010

The Church of God ministers meeting was held in Makindu, Kenya. The purpose of the meeting was to set clear direction and purpose of hearts to the efforts of reviving the true fellowship of the Word and the Spirit. God blessed the saints with a determination to humbly sacrifice our own ways that the will of God may be done!

Note: Bro Richard from Carmichael had the privilege to travel to Kenya and to help in this meeting. The content on this page is based upon his visit.

This first video introduces the purpose of the meeting via key excerpts from two different messages brought during the meeting.

Note: This first meeting at Makindu was intended primarily for the ministers. Later in December the intention is to have a larger camp meeting, with plans of attendance somewhere between 100 to 300.

Ministry Attached at the Wings and Waiting on the Spirit of God

An important purpose of the meeting was the ministry staying in true fellowship by waiting on the Word and Spirit of God. In one of the messages all the ministers went up front to "join together at the wings" as the Church is described in a vision within Ezekiel the first chapter.

Everyone Like the Ministry Who Are Attached at the Wings

At the end of the meeting when a group picture was requested, spontaneously the saints wanted to "join at the wings" in remembrance of the purpose to hold together by waiting upon God's Word and his Spirit.

The saints in Kenya love to sing praises to God, where ever they go! This next video is a collection of different songs they sang during the meeting.

Bro Lawrence's Full Testimony

Bro Lawrence's testimony was a key part of starting this ministers meeting, and in helping to set new direction and purpose to the work of the Church of God in Kenya. Note: Unfortunately during this video there is some background noise from a distance of people shouting and causing a distraction. This noise is coming from a modern day pentecostal church that is next door to the Church grounds at Makindu.
