  • God is everything good and righteous (Psalms 107 & Daniel 9:14) – God is perfect in every way – he never makes a mistake (Deuteronomy 32:3-4 & Psalms 18:30).

  • God is the creator of all that is (Genesis 1) – everything good came from God. God created the devil to tempt us with evil to test if our love for God is a true love (James 1:12-17)

  • God is the heavenly Father to all that will seek him and serve him (Matthew 6:14-15)

  • God is the fullness of love – all true, faithful, and righteous love comes from God, for God is love (I John 4:7-21). His love goes far beyond the capability of human love (Romans 5:7-8), and the only good that human love can do is due to God giving that capability of love to people.

  • God is the all knowing and perfect in understanding, just and righteous judge – because God created everything about us, he knows and understands us perfectly: what we are capable of, and whether we are doing our best with what he has given us, and exactly what we hold secret within our heart (Psalms 44:21). Consequently, he has every right to judge us for what we do or don’t do.
