Northcrest Bible Story Time is held every Friday on the lawn near the playground at 6:00 p.m. This meeting runs through the summer and ends in early fall.
We implement singing, flannel stories and skits to teach these precious truths and always have a treat ready for them at the end of the lesson. We have a variety of ages of children as well as parents that attend the meeting. We would love to have you join us.

Children are bombarded at such an early age with contrary messages from peers, music, TV, and movies. Good parents are often at a loss for encouraging family support. Bible Story Time offers real support to parents. BST workers labor with the parents, instructing children to be honest and obedient, as well as telling about God's wonderful plan for children's lives. |

 Andy and Glenda Gallagher have been married for more than 20 years. They are currently raising four children of their own in addition to working with children in Bible Story Time.
For the past 18 years, Andy and Glenda have been active participants in several Bible Story Time efforts including the classes held at the church every Tuesday evening, hosting summer Bible Story Time classes at their home, and helping with the Bible Story Time efforts in the Russian community in Rancho Cordova as well as the efforts at the North Crest Appartments. They have a done a variety of work such as teaching, song leading, and transporting children to and from the church on Tuesday evenings. Their children are active and eager helpers as well. God has truly burdened them with enabling children to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ. |

This Week's Memory Verse
 In the story of the "Three Little Pigs", we can learn the wisdom of building our spiritual house out of strong materials. Materials that God approves of and will cause our lives to be good lives. These materials are honesty, integrity, love, peace, joy, and other similar character traits, or fruits of the Spirit, as the Bible labels them. These come from God. When we serve Him, He liberally imparts these "materials" to us.
However, if we choose, as did the first two pigs, to build our lives with lesser materials like lying, dishonesty, stealing, hatred, and unkindness, our lives will be full of unhappiness and instability. Our end will be no better. It is always better to serve God. He gives only the best to those who will serve Him. "Therefore, whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock." Matthew 7:24

Northcrest Bible Story Time is back for 2011 |
Northcrest Bible Story Time has begun for the summer/fall season of 2011. We hope you will come each Friday at 6 pm. We would also like to invite you to come to our Tuesday night BST meeting at the Church of God in Carmichael.
