"...the foundation of God standeth sure..." 2 Timothy 2:19

When we meet someone new, we don't know a lot about them. If we want to get to know them, we must spend time with them ask questions, talk and listen to them.

Some of the things we might ask are what is your favorite food? How do you spend your time? What do you like and dislike? God wants us to get to know him and he has answered the questions we may have about him in his word, the Holy Bible. Some of the things it tells us is that God is love, strength, goodness, a firm foundation, a rock, and that he leads us to repentance. It is not enough for us to know about God. We must get to know him in a personal way and serve him.
