"He that endures to the end shall be saved." A salmon's #1 goal when it comes back up the river from the ocean is to make it back to the place where it hatched to lay its eggs. But did you know that only 3 out of every 1000 salmon make it back?
They meet with many oppositions on their way back and for most of them, those oppositions prove fatal. A christian's #1 goal is to make heaven their home. But just because they start out thay way, doesn't mean that is where they end. Like the salmon the christian will meet with much opposition too. But the good news is every one of them can make it if they really want to because we have someone that will help us, the Lord Jesus Christ.
