 "Ye are all one in Christ Jesus" Galatians 3:28
The Church is the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is our head. When we place our faith in Christ, God becomes our father, we become his children, other believers become our brothers and sisters and the church becomes our spiritual family.
The only way to get into God's family is to be born into it. "Ye must be born again." Your spiritual family is even more important than your physical family because it will last forever. The family of God is enormous. "After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude,which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the Lamb, clothed with white robes and palms in their hands..." Revelations 7:9 These saints were brought before God out of all nations, and brought into his church. They are happy in the love and guidance of the Lord Jesus Christ. He shall feed them. He shall lead them to living fountains of waters. He shall put them into the possession of everything that is pleasant and refreshing to their souls. God shall wipe away their tears. They are happy in being delivered from all sorrow. He deals with them as a tender-hearted father who finds his beloved child in tears. He comforts and wipes the childs eyes and turns sorrow into rejoicing. What a blessing to be a part of God's family!
