Acts 19:1-2 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
The apostle Paul went to Ephesus and found some disciples. He asked them this question: Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? They were disciples but hadn’t heard whether there was a Holy Ghost.
When do we receive the Holy Spirit? |

God is not willing that anyone perish – God has given to every one a measure of faith.
Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. |

Ecclesiastes 12:1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Remember our creator in the days when we are young; we need to choose to serve God when we’re young. Before a person gets involved in worldly habits, drugs, pleasures of this life and deep sin.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Our whole duty in life is to hear God and keep his commandments. Obedience is vital to our making heaven our home. Obeying part way but having our own way sometimes will not get us to heaven. |

An old year has completed its course and we have just begun a new year. Many people will be setting goals for the new year and as Christians we too should consider spiritual goals. So what is your spiritual game plan for the New Year?
Our first goal should be to continue to live a sin free life. Consider Isaiah 1:18: Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 99.9% sin free doesn't cut it or Isaiah 1:18 would have to be re-written to say,"though your sins are as scarlet they will be light pink"

Meaning of Covetousness - Excessively desirous, expecially of something belonging to another; Greed Covet - to desire that which is anothers. Or you could say Covetous means "I want, I want, I want"
In todays society too many people are not happy with what they have or with what God has given. If we get this attitude then we will be unhappy with our lives and God won't be able to satisfy us. |

Everyone can be successful in life but to be successful you must have a plan. And at the bottom of this plan a good Christian foundation of salvation. It is very unwise to leave God out of the planning of our lives. There is no doubt that the God-planned life is by all odds the best, most useful, and happiest life.
