The High School class is an awesome group of high school students who are serious about their salvation and have a true concern for each other. We all want to make heaven our home and also want to see each other make it. It is encouraging to be able to share our prayer requests with each other and carry burdens together. It is also great being able to hang out with teenagers that can have a good influence on you. The teachers are always willing to help you or talk to you if you are struggling with something. The lessons are geared toward enhancing bible knowledge, and learning how to change our lives to live right. Occasionally the class will have parties or game nights which is an excellent opportunity to get to know everyone and at the same time enjoy good clean fun. The High School Bible Study class is a perfect opportunity to fellowship with other Christians our age and learn more about God's word. There is no other place we would rather be on a Tuesday night. The High School class is composed of teenagers and their teachers who want to make heaven their home. As young people, we want to be a light in a dark world and point others toward the path that leads to Christ and to "fullness of Joy". The goal of the High School class - each individual's burden and prayer - is to not only encourage those that are living for Christ to stand and be strong, but also to pull together as a team to reach out to other teenagers who want a reason to live and to show them how God can put and keep their lives in focus. Our weekly lessons are brought by concerned and burdened teachers who are there for us at any time of day or night, should we need their guidance. We learn about having personal devotions, dealing with peer pressure, being better children to our parents, fighting the devil effectively, and so much more. This class isn't only listening to a lecture every Tuesday night - it is interactive with scripture memorization, monthly parties and games, class projects, participating in choir at our monthly Young Persons service, and much more.
